To install a Harbor Breeze ceiling fan, first turn off power at the circuit breaker. Mount the mounting bracket and then lift the fan into place attaching it to the bracket. Next connect the wires - black to black, white to white, green to ground. Install the blades and light kit if applicable. Turn power back on and test fan speeds with remote.

Check if the fan blades spin freely, inspect the remote battery, check circuit breakers/fuses, check wire connections, and test the motor by tapping the center of the motor firmly. If still not working, the motor may need replacement which is covered by the lifetime warranty.
